From July 22 to August 31 is the 2nd season of registration for the Special Tests of Access and Entry to Higher Education for over 23 years, who wish to apply to the 16 courses of 1st cycle of studies of the Universidade Portucalense. The entrance via “Over 23” is intended for candidates who do not have higher education access qualifications and have completed 23 years until December 2021.
The Hotel School is the bet of Portucalense University to consolidate the Tourism and Hospitality Management Bachelors. With this laboratory training space, which resembles a hotel, the two degrees now provide a more dynamic and practical training. In Reception, ensuring the management of reservations and customer contact, or in Housekeeping, managing the rules for cleaning and tidying rooms, students have the opportunity to develop fundamental skills for the future, through simulation actions based on the characteristics and challenges of hospitality and hotel management.
On 15 July, the Rector of the Eduardo Mondlane University, Manuel Guilherme Júnior, was at the Universidade Portucalense, where he signed a cooperation protocol between the two universities. The Eduardo Mondlane University, founded in 1962, is the oldest institution of higher education in Mozambique. The public university is present in the provinces of Maputo, Gaza, Inhambane, Zambézia, and, through distance learning, throughout the country and abroad.
