On 15 July, the Rector of the Eduardo Mondlane University, Manuel Guilherme Júnior, was at the Universidade Portucalense, where he signed a cooperation protocol between the two universities.
The Eduardo Mondlane University, founded in 1962, is the oldest institution of higher education in Mozambique.
The public university is present in the provinces of Maputo, Gaza, Inhambane, Zambézia, and, through distance learning, throughout the country and abroad.
