Renato Cunha

Chef and owner of Restaurante Ferrugem and lecturer at Universidade Portucalense and Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Porto.
A chef by vocation, he likes to be seen as an ambassador for Portuguese gastronomy.
With an entrepreneurial spirit and a multidisciplinary life, he divides his time between Ferrugem, a restaurant project since 2006, teaching in higher education and activities linked to the land, such as the organic vegetable garden, local accommodation in a rural environment and the #ircomsedeaopote initiative. In 2016, he was awarded the Medal of Municipal Economic Merit by Famalicão City Council.
