Biographical Summary
Mónica Pereira

With a degree in Mining and Geoenvironmental Engineering, she swapped engineering projects for traditional Portuguese sweets. Her training went through the School of Hospitality and Tourism, in Porto, and the Squires Kitchen International School, in London. Since 2000 she has been dedicated to artisanal sweets and pastries and since 2006 she has been sharing her time between training and consultancy for hotels and restaurants. She has provided training for professionals and non-professionals, consultancy in several companies in the area of Pastry, Catering and Catering. With more than 16 years of experience in the creation and execution of Creative and Artisanal Pastry, Traditional Portuguese Sweets, Pastry, Fillings and Cake Decoration, she has participated in different publications, recipe presentations, showcookings and television programmes.
