The Master in Clinical and Health Psychology anchors its scientific and pedagogical work in the research lines developed by different teachers and researchers, and integrated in the INPP/ Instituto de Desenvolvimento Humano Portucalense. The INPP includes two laboratories, the Cognitive Development Lab (CDL) and the Therapeutic Innovation Lab (TIL).

This cycle of studies falls particularly within the TIL, which supports the work of developing new instruments to evaluate new realities and to develop new interventions. This laboratory has two support structures: the Clinical Centre and the Student Support Office. Both structures share a common goal: promotion of health and well-being, regarding the internal or external community (i.e., community) to UPT.

The lines of research developed represent a contribution to the critical analysis and understanding of any subject situated in the respective area of specialization and not a mere description of facts or institutions.
