The Portucalense Law Journal, edited by the Instituto Jurídico Portucalense, is in 2022 strengthened with the extension of its indexing in internationally recognised scientific databases, namely Scopus, from Elsevier, in 2021, and Web of Science, from Clarivates Analitycs, in 2022.
Founded in 1998, the Revista Jurídica Portucalense has kept up with the evolving demands placed on the area of scientific publication throughout its 24 years of life. In 2014 it became a digital journal, open access, hosted in RCAAP – Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal, maintaining in parallel the printed format, and sought accession to indexing in internationally recognized databases.
Indexed since 2017 in REDIB (Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico), the Revista Jurídica Portucalense also became part of DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) in 2019 and the referential database Scopus, from the publisher Elsevier, in 2021.
Recently, in June 2022, the Revista Juridica Portucalense saw, once again, its path of success and quality recognized, having become part of the ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index) of the Core Collection of the Web of Science, of the publisher Clarivates Analitycs, after a demanding process of preparation, submission and evaluation developed over the past two years.
