Universidade Portucalense will host the 15th BAD Congress (Librarians, Archivists, Information and Documentation Professionals), taking place from 17 to 19 June.
Centred on the theme “Commitment to Democracy: Dialogue, Well-being, and Inclusion,” the Congress aims to establish itself as a prime space for critical reflection, broad debate, and the sharing of experiences regarding the role of libraries, archives, and information services in building more just, participatory, and cohesive societies.
This meeting brings together professionals, researchers, technicians, and students in the field of information and documentation, promoting interdisciplinary dialogue, updating knowledge and collectively building responses to contemporary challenges of democracy, inclusion, and social welfare.
