In view of the natural evolution of the market, the Executive MBA aims to prepare professionals to carry out their duties using innovative, differentiating techniques and enabling a holistic view of the business, whether national or international. Portucalense Business School created the Executive MBA with the aim of training professionals of excellence, enabling them to reconcile their professional and personal careers with a view to growing in both areas.
During the programme, participants will train their strategic thinking and critical thinking skills, with a strong focus on acquiring competences in the area of management.
The Executive MBA is geared towards developing the skills most valued in the labour market, focusing on a strong practical component through real case studies, simulations in national and international business environments and exchanges of experience. It also favours the development of leadership skills, teamwork, communication, conflict management, creativity and innovation. At the same time, they have the chance to develop their soft skills and expand their networking.
The International Week

Developed in partnership with the ICN Creative Business School, the International Week offers an international component in an immersive environment at a leading international school in Paris.
ICN Business School claims to be a “Creative Business School” with triple accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, which represents the highest quality seal in business education.
The International Week is an integral part of the Executive MBA and, over the course of 5 days, participants will benefit from a teaching programme taking place on the ICN Paris Campus, as well as company visits organised by the Business School.

Timetable
Wednesdays: 6pm to 9pm
Fridays: 6pm to 10pm
Saturdays: 9am to 1pm and twice a month from 2pm to 6pm
Note: Some sessions may take place online.
The award of the Executive MBA diploma depends on passing all the course units. Only students who have attended at least 75 per cent of the respective contact hours (not counting International Week contact hours) can be submitted for assessment.
Students who have attended at least 75% of the contact hours of each course unit, but who have not passed all the course units, will be awarded a certificate proving that they have attended the course.
Students who have attended the International Week will be awarded an ICN Business School certificate as proof of their participation in the week.

Management Challenge
The programme includes practical lessons in the classroom, which will be taught in English, visits to world-leading companies with their headquarters based in Paris and to public bodies.
With the theme From Heritage to Innovation, the international week is designed around innovation processes combined with management and entrepreneurship. Stimulating critical thinking and creativity, as well as the use of new techniques such as “figital” will be a constant feature of the programme.

With an MBA from ESADE Barcelona and all the know-how he has acquired throughout his professional career, he supports dozens of Portuguese companies and entrepreneurs in developing their businesses and teams through his boutique consultancy. He is a board member of a number of national organisations and is currently vice-president of the Portuguese Association for Quality (APQ). His latest challenges centre on international investments in segmentation and data enrichment companies (software development) for conversion in the customer’s path to purchase. He is also a speaker on international trade and sales management and author of the book “Chegar e Vende”.

With a degree in Social Communication from the University of Minho and a background in journalism, for over two decades she has worked intensively as an image and communication consultant for various public and private organisations in different sectors of activity.
With a past marked by the design, development and implementation of communication strategies for relevant national and international organisations, her professional involvement is transversal: as founder and leader of the S3MS communication agency, she coordinates the processes from diagnosis to the design and implementation of communication, including the production of content, contacts with the media and opinion influencers, and the evaluation of results.
With extensive experience in press relations, she is currently responsible for the public image of well-known Portuguese and foreign companies and brands, advising and training their managers in an integrated communication approach.
