She holds a PhD in Tourism from the University of Aveiro (European Doctorate) and has specialised training in Hotel Management. She is currently a lecturer at the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture and a researcher and member of REMIT – Research in Economics, Management and Information Technologies (in the line Territories and Organisations for Sustainable Development), being the author of several scientific publications. She has extensive professional experience in the hospitality sector, in national and international contexts.
