External Cooperation DCT
The DCT favours the relationship with the business world through knowledge sharing from the companies to the university and from the university to the companies.
The department has, for many years, a very active policy that is embodied in different activities:
- internships, curricular or summer internships;
- seminars and workshops;
- innovative learning policies such as: case studies, learning by doing, role playing, simulations;
- tailor-made training in non-degree courses;
- provision of specialised services through a knowledge transfer unit;
- employment exchange.
The alumni network strengthens this relationship by the presence of former students in companies, many of which were created by them.
Finally, to ensure the adequacy of its training offer to the needs of companies and society, the DCT promotes meetings with employers since 2007.
