I chose the Portucalense University due to the influence of positive comments from friends and acquaintances who have studied here before and are still studying here, as well as from my parents who also graduated here. I think that there is a general fear of entering academic life and a fear of adapting to the university system, however, due to the excellence of the teaching staff, the kindness and availability of the staff and the good atmosphere in the classrooms, I saw all these obstacles mitigated. The proximity between teachers and students is enormous, which facilitates learning and increases the motivational factor for the achievement of better results, and this interaction is recognised by the students and defined as essential.
