External Cooperation
The Department of Economics and Management (DEG) favours the proximity to the business world through knowledge sharing, from companies to the University, as well as from the University to companies.
In the relationship with the business world, the DEG has adopted a dynamic policy by establishing relationships of educational, scientific and cultural exchange, namely through curricular and summer internships, seminars and workshops, tailor-made training (non-degree courses), among others.
The alumni network strengthens these exchange relationships by the presence of former students in important positions in the business world, often created by the students themselves.
To ensure the suitability of its training offer to the needs of companies and society, the DEG has promoted meetings with employers since 2007.
