Erasmus Students’ Association

The ERASMUS Students Association – UPT (ESA) is a branch of Portucalense University which aims to contribute to the promotion and development of contacts, cooperation, cultural integration/interaction and mutual understanding among mobile students and the entire student community of the university, in the spirit of students helping students.

The objectives will be pursued, namely, through:

• Organisation of a reception week for incoming students, in both semesters of each academic year;
  Coordination of the ERASMUS Buddy programme, in partnership with the International Relations Office;
• Establishment of a bridge between foreign students and the other student bodies, with a view to a more rapid and pleasant integration;
• Promotion of Portuguese language workshops;
• Organisation of academic gatherings;
• Planning and monitoring tourist and cultural visits;
