Maria José Duran – Testimonial

My name is María José Morales Durán and I am an Erasmus student, I am very happy to have been selected to study at Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique (UPT) because my classmates and professors are very friendly and close, I immediately felt at home. They are attentive and make sure that you understand everything.
The teaching staff is also very qualified, some of them are not only PhDs but also professionals in the fields in which they teach the subjects. There are also many invited experts in the area of social education to help us better understand some theoretical aspects such as our role in some areas, or to tell us how they got to their current position and thus guide us for when we have to go out into the labour market.
The classes are quite dynamic, there is a lot of teamwork and practice plays a very important role, as well as theory.
Something that I really like is that the University offers a variety of training and leisure activities for Erasmus students, to meet other classmates who also come from other countries and to create bonds! In short, studying Social Education at UPT is an experience that gives you a lot on a personal and above all professional level, because of the great human quality of the people who make it up.
