UPT is a private higher education institution, ISO 9001 certified, recognised by the Portuguese Government and the Portuguese Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education – A3ES that is gaining prominence nationally and internationally having initiated an ambitious plan for the future.

Created in June 1986, UPT is located in Porto, known as the ‘Invincible City’. The city of Porto is also a centre of educational and research excellence, standing out for its technological and scientific innovation that attracts students from all over the country and abroad.
UPT wishes to receive proposals for collaboration, on a full-time basis, from PhDs in the areas of Economics / Management / Finance / Hospitality / Law / International Relations / Tourism / Psychology / Heritage, Conservation and Restoration.

Preference will be given to candidates who have proven teaching and research experience and scientific publications.
