
A lawyer by training, journalist by profession, he studied law at the University of Coimbra and became a journalist with the birth of PÚBLICO, joining the founding team. He was responsible for the Agenda, editor of the Local section, worked in the Sports, Society and Politics sections, and in recent decades has dedicated himself to the areas of gastronomy and wine.
It is in this context that he has participated in various forums, meetings and congresses of the speciality. He has also been a jury member in several gastronomy and wine competitions, both inside and outside Portugal.
