Conservation and Restoration Clinic

The Conservation and Restoration Clinic is a service provision unit, consisting of laboratories that work in the areas of conservation and restoration and are established as active players in the enhancement and safeguarding of mobile and integrated heritage, never forgetting the immateriality present in all cultural assets. In this search for immateriality, the relationships with the most authentic traditions and know-how are privileged.
Initially it only had a laboratory specialised in the conservation of ceramic materials, but the need to serve an increasingly demanding and wider market determined the expansion to other areas in the fields of intervention and study of the historical-artistic heritage. Today, it develops services in the areas of ceramics and tiles, painting, sculpture and carving, metals and graphic documents, which intrinsically articulate with the training activities.
