All of Universidade Portucalense’s research units have been rated “Very Good” by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
The FCT’s announcement on 15 April 2025 of the provisional results of the evaluation of research units brought great news for our university: all four research units, CIAUD.UPT, CINTESIS-UPT (RISE.Health), IJP, and REMIT, were rated “Very Good”.
Congratulations are therefore in order to all of the institution’s employees, especially the researchers and support staff, whose committed contribution was decisive for this result.
This result recognises the continuous improvement that the University has been making in all areas, with special emphasis on research. It is yet another strong incentive to reinforce the standards of quality and innovation adopted in all the University’s scope of action, namely in undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education, and in research.
