I have been at the Universidade Portucalense since 2015 and I liked the way I was welcomed, as well as the relationship of the teachers, supporting us and dedicating a lot of time to us. Here, whoever wants to progress academically, has all the necessary conditions. I like studying at Portucalense, because besides the classes, we have very interesting events and seminars that help us prepare the professional future.
Stephano Bonani
When, still in Brazil, I contacted the Universidade Portucalense to find out more about the exchange programme, everyone was very kind and helpful to me. From that moment on, I knew I would choose the city of Porto to live a new experience. When I arrived, I was welcomed by all the staff. The teachers are very attentive to me and always try to make a connection between the subject and issues of my country. I couldn't have chosen a better destination for my exchange.

The experience of being an Erasmus student in Universidade Portucalense was enriching because it gave me a lot of knowledge and new friendships, contributing to my personal, academic and professional development.

Study in Porto

Porto is located on the west coast of Europe and is the second largest city in Portugal and the economic and industrial centre of the north of the country. Porto offers the discovery of magnificent natural, urban, architectural and artistic landscapes. The Douro River, which flows through the city, is the largest river in the north of the country, crossing the famous terraced vineyards that give rise to the famous Port wine, until it flows into the Atlantic Ocean, in the western part of the city. Living in Porto is very pleasant: people are friendly and welcoming, the cost of living is affordable, there is safety and the climate is mild.
Universidade Portucalense is located in one of the biggest knowledge and innovation campuses in Europe (Asprela), where more than 50 000 people work, research and study every day. Our campus is recognized for its high degree of technological innovation, in a bet that aims to provide students who attend it a quality education. Portucalense has several resources where you can find everything you need: work rooms, teaching support platforms, distance learning, bar, restaurant, library, access to databases, green spaces, car parks, immediate accessibility to the Metro network.
