General Terms and Conditions
- not be a Portuguese national;
- not to be a national of one of the European Union Member States;
- not to be registered as exchange students in Erasmus+ programmes.
Students wishing to apply for a Bachelor’s degree must meet the following two conditions:
- Hold a diploma which, in the country where it was obtained, guarantees a legitimate right of access to higher education.
- have successfully completed the entrance exams required for the course they are applying for (the national entrance exam for higher education required in their country of origin or equivalent to the entrance exams in Portugal)

Recognition of Portuguese qualifications
National higher education entrance examinations are required.
For Brazilian students: the National High School Exam (ENEM)
For mainland China students: National Secondary Education Examinations (Gaokao)
For students from Macau, Hong Kong or Taiwan: the National Secondary School Examinations (Liankao)
The admission exams in Portuguese can be taken at Portucalense University according to the defined rules
