Organizational Psychology 2017/2018

1) To understand the complexity of human beings as they function in organisations; 2) develop self-knowledge and awareness of how the Other as similar and different; 3) To acquire the necessary knowledge of psychology applied to management; 3) to develop competences in the field of communication, motivation and leadership.

Teaching Metodology

Teaching methods used in this course will include lectures and practical exercises (e.g., role play) beginning with a general introduction to Psychology and moving to specific areas relevant to the management of organisations. The course contents concur with the goals of the syllabus, and are developed in agreement with the learning process and are adjusted to the various parts of the syllabus. The syllabus is structured in order to allow and even encourage students to carry out their own study. The teaching methodology unites theory to practice, allowing students to see the applied uses of the theoretical knowledge.
