The easiest and cheapest way to get from Porto airport to the city center is to take the metro (www.metrodoporto.pt). Line E (Purple) connects airport station to Porto city center. "Trindade" station, in downtown, makes connection with all lines. The title (andante) required for travelling is Z4. It takes about 30 minutes and the single fare is €1.95. For the first time, you need to buy the card (reusable and rechargeable) that costs €0,60.
UPT has got a canteen opened from 12 am to 2 pm. The whole meal (soup, main dish-meat or fish- dessert, bread and water or juice) costs approximately 4.00 EUR. Just opposite the Portucalense University building you will find the shopping center Campus S. João which has a food court, opened from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
