Universidade Portucalense was recently admitted as a full member of the EUA-European Universities Association. This decision, taken at the meeting of the EUA Council on October 28 (https://eua.eu/news/963:eua-welcomes-new-members.html), is a valuable recognition, by the main European association of Universities, of the pedagogical and scientific capacity of the Portucalense University.
The European University Association (EUA) represents more than 850 universities and national rectors’ conferences in 49 European countries. EUA plays a crucial role in the Bologna Process and in influencing EU policies on higher education, research and innovation. Portucalense University will actively participate in the activities of the EUA, namely in the working groups on themes of relevance to the strategic development of European universities.
